A recent study from the Tower Cancer Research Foundation in Los Angeles, found that the biggest reason people waited to see a doctor was because they were simply waiting to see if symptoms disappeared. However, 15 percent of respondents waited one to five years after their symptoms appeared before finally seeking medical advice.
Yes,I believed people are afraid to face the inevitable of the truth of their own body ,so they rather wait and delay for checkup or seeking medical advise.As for me if I feel something wrong in my body or doesn't feel right,I'm sure will seek medical advise or expertise immediately.

Early detection raises the bar considerably on our ability to help those in need.”

Today medical insurance is really expensive,not all people can afford to pay their premium from the own pocket if their employer or company doesn't cover certain part of checkup procedure or diagnoses.But I strongly suggest to anyone who don't have medical insurance to seek medical attention immediately when they are in pain or once a year for regular checkup for their peace of mind.You only live once.Live is very precious,don't take it for granted!!
